Seriously.

What the flaming hells is that all about?

That's right, I'm stuck. And irritated about it.

*ahem* Allow me to explain..

So I got pretty far in DarkSide Chronicles, died a few times along the way, got pissed off as usual, like I would in any Resident Evil game.
(that's how you know if I like it or not,
If I'm having fun during it, its obviously not good enough.)

I'm in the RE2 part of the game where you're at the train toward the end and the impermeable Mister Tyrant guy (aka Trenchy) is buttraping you repeatedly while you fall down and die over and over.

Pretty much... yea..

While they may give you infinite amount of grenade launchers, they give Mister buttrapist infinite health as well. I don't get it, and after dying for the 1,276th time I gave up, so here I am now writing a journal entry about getting buttraped by Trenchy.

(In the novel, he is referred to, by Claire, as Mister T,
while apparently in DSC, Leon calls him Trenchy,
which is also funny because Leon had never met that creature in the original story,
but that's just me stating the obvious.)

With my gamer-ego having been smashed to smithereens, and my irritations put aside for now, all in all I'd say that DSC is pretty sweet. The cam is a bit shaky, so it makes aiming for headshots harder than it should be, specially when it comes to bosses.

They did a good job making Claire and Leon seem rather newbish at the whole zombie-killing thing, acting like a bunch of shaky pansies who every once in a while enjoy getting their butts raped.

I suppose so far its better than the CV remake, but thats just because its RE2 and I've been waiting a long time for them to finally remake it. CV honestly is fine how it was the first time it came out but since they wanted to remake that as well, I'm willing to give it a shot (assuming I ever eventually GET there, with Trenchy in the way and all.)

I'll update this journal entry with more info as I go along in the game.

Also they did great with the music in the game, very spot on. I give kudos to Capcom so far. Even for its irrational difficulty (even on freakin easy mode, those buttraping bitches.)

I apologize for being rather inactive lately. I will try to keep this brief because people don't usually prefer longer journal entries anyway, and I'm too lazy to write some long essay about my life. At least right now.

I'm sick, or just barely getting over being really sick. It was actually pretty intense, I wasn't sure if I needed to go to the ER or not for it. I blame the candy store at Universal Studios. Just a lot of throwing up nothing every 5 minutes for 12 hours. Yea, fun stuff. Not only that, I had an ovarian cyst on the same day. HAH, all I can do is laugh now because I certainly wasn't able to at the time (at my own expense).

Now I'm getting over a cold I had at the same time I had that supposed stomach flu, so my voice is taking its sweet time on trying to come back, with a little phlegm hacking on the side.

My poor poor boyfriend had to witness the entire thing, and even helped me through it, so I'm very thankful for that. Thank you very much, sweety, for not giving up on me even though there was nothing you could really do to make it go away faster or painlessly.

I'm glad to announce I'm back, even if most of you didn't even notice my absence. But now I'll finally be able get back into drawing those line arts for the contest, which I sincerely apologize for because of the wait.

Another reason things took me a while to catch up is because I'm not even home. I've been staying with my bf for the past few weeks in Glendale Cali, and aside from the physical horror my body has put me through lately, I've been having a wonderful time seeing the world outside of my small hometown. Its pretty exciting.

I have like crap tons of pictures up from Universal Studios, Tokyo LA, and Disneyland on facebook and myspace if anyone has me on their friends list. If you don't have me added but want to be in the list, let me know I'm sure we can figure something out.
